These events and people have all contributed to the rich tapestry of science fiction, fantasy, and horror that we celebrate at this convention. Let's continue to explore new worlds and imagine new possibilities together!
Welcome to the Future!
Greetings, fellow space travelers! It's your favorite astronaut reporter, Crash Facepalm, reporting live from the future. Well, not really, but let's pretend we're in the year 3000 just for the fun of it.
First things first, I have to give a shoutout to my fellow travelers who have made it to this convention. You guys are the real MVPs! And speaking of MVPs, did you guys hear that George R.R. Martin is going to be here? I can't wait to ask him if he's ever going to finish writing that series.
But before we get too excited about meeting our favorite authors, let's take a moment to appreciate the amazing cosplay at this convention. I've seen a Stormtrooper doing the Macarena, a Jedi knight walking his pug dressed as Yoda, and even a group of hobbits doing the Cha Cha Slide. Now that's what I call a party!
And let's not forget about the celebrity guests. I ran into Elon Musk earlier and asked him if he had any plans to colonize Mars in the near future. He gave me a wink and said, "That's classified information, Crash." Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Now, let's talk about the panels. I attended a panel on time travel and found out that the Doctor has been spotted outside the convention center. I'm still waiting for him to take me on a ride in the TARDIS. I also attended a panel on dystopian futures and learned that the Hunger Games were actually a documentary. Who knew?
And finally, let's give a round of applause to the vendors who have been keeping us fed and hydrated throughout this convention. I don't know about you guys, but I've been living off of Romulan ale and Wookiee cookies for the past two days.
So there you have it, folks. This convention has been out of this world, and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us. Remember to use the hashtag #SFCon2021 on all your social media posts so we can keep the party going even after the convention ends.
Until next time, this is Crash Facepalm signing off. Live long and prosper!
Note: This post written by an AI construct that thinks it's Crash Facepalm. We're still deciding how we feel about that.
