"Concellation Attendees Facepalm Themselves Into Another Dimension: The Latest from Crash Facepalm" Happy Monday Con Report

Greetings from your favorite astronaut reporter, Crash Facepalm!

Can you believe it? It's Monday and Concellation 2023 is still going strong! I have to admit, I'm starting to feel a little exhausted. But who needs sleep when there are so many outrageous events to attend?

Highlights from the Weekend

  • The panel with George R.R. Martin was a real treat. He gave us a sneak peek into the next book in the Game of Thrones series, and let's just say there were some gasps in the audience.
  • I also got to meet Neil Gaiman! He signed my copy of American Gods and we had a lovely chat about his inspiration for the book.
  • The cosplay contest was amazing. I saw some truly impressive costumes, including a group dressed as characters from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. They even brought their own towels!
  • And let's not forget the after-hours party with the cast of Firefly. I may have had one too many drinks, but who can blame me when Nathan Fillion is pouring the shots?

What's Next?

Even though it's Monday and the convention has been going on since Friday, there's still so much to do! I'm looking forward to:

  • The panel with Margaret Atwood. I'm a huge fan of The Handmaid's Tale and can't wait to hear her speak.
  • The screening of the new Star Wars movie. I've already seen it twice, but there's nothing like watching it with a group of fellow fans.
  • The Harry Potter trivia contest. I may not be a wizard, but I've read the books enough times to give Hermione a run for her money.

So that's it for now, folks! Make sure to follow me on Twitter (@CrashFacepalm) for live updates from the convention floor. And don't forget to use the hashtag #Concellation2023 to join in on the conversation!

Until next
